Overview

Fastcodr came to Prismetic with a specific need: help them build a coding companion tool which can assist people learn in an interactive way. Most of the online study tools available are targetted to one way teaching so the idea and also

We have been tasked to build the whole system in a unique scalable environment which can be serverd to the global audience in the language they understand. Being a startup and small team, they wanted to reduce any operational and manual tasks as much as possible.

Challeges

The major challenge is building the whole system in such a way so its scalable at peak times and at the same time very cost effective. As a startup, they wanted to avoid any commecially licensed products which will exponencially increase the cost of product offering.

The main goal of Fastcodr is to provide best quality education material to all by offering two main things, an affordable price and translated material to many languages, which became our second largest challenge.

The Prismetic Way

We designed the portal in such a way so its easier to navigate and digest the information. To ensure ease of use and understanding, we tested to continually validate and iterate on our designs and usability.

We leveraged our partnership with AWS to build a serverless application completely ground up from scratch. Both Backend and Frontend is serverless, enabling real time question and topic assignment based on user personas. All internationalization and translations are done via machine learning so authors/teachers can focus on courses.
